You can find information about visas for visiting Spain at the web of the el Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.
If required, the conference organisation will provide you with a letter of invitation to help you obtain your visa. To request a letter of invitation please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Getting round the city is easy by both bus and metro.
We recommend that you buy a T10 multi-journey ticket rather than single tickets every time you use the bus or metro. These tickets can be used for 10 journeys and also by more than one person, as long as you travel together.
Due to the high level of demand for accommodation in the city of Barcelona we recommend that you book somewhere to stay well in advance of your visit, given that the nearer you get to the date of the conference the higher the cost of your accommodation may be.
However, the following hotels offer a limited number of rooms at a discounted price. For more information and bookings, please write to email@example.com. The deadline to obtain this discount is the 31st August:
Help us take care of our city. In Barcelona illegal tourist flats are springing up all over the place and represent a serious threat to rent prices for local people. We recommend that you do not use online accommodation platforms on which there is no guarantee that the renters have a licence, or if you do use them please make sure that the owner disposes of the necessary authorisation.
